About the reflector
The Maxibright Supernova reflector has been one of the most popular choices of reflectors purchased for many years in the UK now, and its design is the reason why.
The Maxibright Supernova reflector has a closed end design and dual parabolic reflector that bounces all the light available from the lamp downwards towards your plant canopy. The ends of the Supernova reflector are powder coated in a white finish and have large holes to help the heat to disperse from the lamp, but this reflector can produce a little bit of heat below it, so it is important to have good air circulation between your plant canopy and grow light.
The Supernova has a four-metre cable fitted with an IEC connection to fit to your ballast and also chain attached to hang the reflector easily. It is available in two sizes to suit the size and length of the lamps for a better spread of light, go on give your plants that Supernova experience
About the Ballast .
Maxibright Compact power pack. This unit has an encapsulated choke potted in resin in an injection-moulded enclosure, which ensures silent running. The choke also incorporates a thermal cut out device to protect against lamp rectification and shorts. The igniter is also timed to protect against lamp failure. The unit is also wall mountable.
The most Compact ballast units available fully encapsulated within an injection-moulded resin case which ensures Silent running.
The Maxibright Compact unit will run both Sodium and Metal halide lamps and are available in 250w, 400w, 600w and 1000w units.
