Pump noise and vibration levels greatly reduced as pump is inside the pot in the solution and air flow can be adjusted to 180 litres/hour (old Oxypot was 150 litres/hour). Includes new nutrient fill / root insertion hole making it easier to monitor and manage. Made from food grade plastic, the Ikon Oxy Pot is a Deep Water Culture (DWC) hydroponic unit that would make a good home for your mother plant. Growth rates are super-fast, as the roots are being fed large amounts of oxygen through a high quality ceramic air stone. Part of the root system is suspended in air with the remainder submersed in an oxygen rich nutrient. The nutrient is continuously aerated with a Hydror Air pump.
